Refund Policy

1. Overview

Austral Audio offers digital subscription products that provide access to audio plugin software. All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd (“Paddle”), our Merchant of Record, who handles all refund processing.

2. Paddle as Merchant of Record

Paddle is the legal seller of record for all Austral Audio purchases. This means Paddle processes your payment, handles tax, and issues refunds. Paddle's buyer protection policies apply to your purchase. For details, see Paddle's Buyer Terms.

3. 14-Day Refund Window

We offer a full refund within 14 days of your initial subscription purchase. This applies to the first payment of a new subscription only — it does not apply to subscription renewals.

To qualify for a refund, simply contact us within 14 days of your initial purchase date. No reason is required.

4. Recurring Charges

Subscriptions renew automatically. To avoid being charged for the next billing period, cancel your subscription before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time through Paddle's subscription management portal.

Partial-period refunds for the current billing cycle are generally not provided. If you cancel mid-period, your access continues until the end of the paid period. Exceptions may be made for documented technical issues.

5. When Refunds Are Not Available

Refunds are generally not available in the following cases:

  • The 14-day refund window has passed.
  • The charge is a subscription renewal (not an initial purchase).
  • Your account was terminated for violating our Terms of Service or EULA.

6. Technical Issues

If our plugins do not function correctly on a supported configuration, we will work with you to resolve the issue. If we are unable to resolve a technical problem, we may grant a refund outside the standard 14-day window at our discretion.

Please contact support with details about your system configuration, DAW, and the issue you are experiencing so we can assist you effectively.

7. EU Consumer Rights

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, consumers in the European Union have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital goods. By initiating a download of the Software, you acknowledge and consent to the waiver of this withdrawal right in accordance with Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive, as performance of the digital content has begun.

Notwithstanding this waiver, we still offer our 14-day refund window as described in Section 3 above.

8. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, you can:

  1. Email us at support@store.zecca.cc with your account email and the reason for your request.
  2. Use the link in your Paddle receipt to request a refund directly through Paddle.

Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days. The refund will be credited to the original payment method used for the purchase.
